Getting Started
The first step in your career journey with us will be to have a consultation call. An expert career consultant will spend time getting to know you and your career aspirations, and will then be able to work out the best course collection and pathway for you to get to where you want to go.
Once you have been enrolled, your Career Consultant will book your orientation phone call. During this call, a member of our StudentCare™ team will walk through the learning platform with you and guide you on how best to begin your studies. You'll be booked in for regular check-in calls to assist with your new journey and given pointers on how to successfully complete your studies. We'll also advise on your exam readiness and the booking process when needed.
If you are unable to keep the original orientation appointment, please contact your Career Consultant, who will be more than happy to re-book the orientation call for a time that suits you.
We use multiple training platforms as we always seek to provide the best training for each specific subject. You will be sent an email within 24 hours of your enrolment detailing the specific log in details you’ll need to access your training. Please check your junk or spam email for those emails.

Exams
When you get to the end of a complete course (CompTIA A+ or PRINCE2® Foundation), there’s an opportunity to take a Test Prep or practice exam.
The best indicator of whether you’re ready for your final exam is the score in the practice exam. We recommend you need to be achieving at least 80% in both the module tests and the Test Prep or practice exam.
In your training, you’ll find that at the end of each module, there is a small test or activity which we advise you to complete before moving on to the next module. A score of 80% shows you have a good grasp of the training. Lower means there is a little more work to do.
Also, any of the test scores from the modules you completed over 2 months ago will have to be brought up to date simply by retaking the test prior to requesting your exam voucher.
If you’ve got to this point in your training, well done, you’re nearly there.
When you’ve reached the point where you’re scoring above 80%, drop your StudentCare™ consultant a line and they will do a quick health check to make sure, not only that you’ve finished all of your training, but that you can confidently expect to pass that exam first time. They’ll then guide you through the exam booking process – detailed below – so you’ll have everything you need to gain your new certification.
If any of this sounds daunting, don’t worry, StudentCare™ is always happy to help with course guidance, revision tips and words of wisdom, so don’t be afraid to get in touch for some friendly advice along the way.
You’re in safe hands, our StudentCare™ team have helped thousands of people like you pass their exams.
Our advice is to talk to your StudentCare™ consultant once you’re confident that you’re achieving high scores in your modules and Test Prep. We’ll purchase the exams, and you can schedule them for a time that works best for you.
The rules around identity verification for official certification exams mean that each student needs to complete their application themselves.
Exam requirements and booking processes vary depending on the exam vendor. As such, please feel free to contact your dedicated StudentCare™ if you have any queries.
The following instructions talk you through the steps for some of the more popular exams:
PMI exams
Complete your application, which will be like filling out a job application, showcasing your history in project management.
It can take PMI 3 - 5 working days to approve your application. Once you receive a notification of approval, please provide us with your PMI registration details so that we can purchase your exam voucher on your behalf. We can not pay for an exam voucher until your application has been approved.
After the purchase has been made, you can log back in and schedule the exam.
Microsoft, Cisco and CompTIA exams
We purchase exam vouchers every week on a Thursday.
You will receive an email from us with an exam code and a link to the relevant exam vendors. Please create an account by clicking on the link, which will allow you to schedule the exam. Enter your exam voucher code to pay and secure your exam booking.
