Leap Careers

Leap Careers helps you find the right job by matching your profile with tailored job opportunities. Welcome to your new career journey!

Are you ready to leap into your exciting new career? Welcome to Leap Careers from Learning People, our exclusive service designed to connect our students with specific job opportunities from a wide range of partner employers, helping you take that all-important first step into a shiny new role.

At Learning People, we're already committed to helping you realise your full potential through job-ready, world-class courses, industry-recognised certifications, dedicated StudentCare™ support, and expert Career Services to smoothly guide you through your job hunt.

Leap Careers takes this a step further by offering direct access to job opportunities. We work with our job-ready students, introducing you to our network of employers to help you secure your next career move.

Our students have secured roles with organisations such as Mott MacDonald, NHS, KPMG, and Jaguar Land Rover over the past 12 months, maximising the value of their new skillsets with positions such as project manager, lead data scientist and client experience advisor.

To join the Leap community, all you have to do is complete your Leap Careers profile, which our StudentCare™ team will guide you through at your 1:1 check-in call at the start of your study period, and continue to update this as your career develops.

Then we'll get busy helping you find that life-changing new role!

Why employers love our students

Investing their own time and money for a fulfilling career, our students demonstrate personal drive and commitment to career development, which is a very positive sign for our employers.

Learning People students are readily able to transfer their existing skills, specifically soft skills such as problem solving, communication, and time management straight into a new role - they are 'job-ready'.

It takes determination and drive to successfully complete your studies, often alongside other employment and sometimes family commitments too. This is meaningful to organisations looking for driven, motivated talent.

Our talented students make up a diverse talent pool, and offer a range of employers and organisations a huge opportunity to address the skills gaps in the digital, tech, and project management sectors.

Our students have worked hard to achieve globally-recognised qualifications, providing clear evidence that they have the required knowledge and skills and that they are ready to be applied in the workplace.

Direct job opportunities

We’ll highlight employer opportunities matching your profile. The roles will be varied in level and salary but we’ll also make this clear in each job opportunity, so you can decide which role is of interest to you personally.

Application support

Managed by Learning People’s career coaches and recruitment specialists. The team will support you through your study period and into your exam preparation phase. Passing your exams opens up more opportunity with our employers who are looking to recruit certified students. We'll support you through applications and recruitment stages.

Employer insights

Throughout the year we’ll run events in collaboration with our partners and employers to share industry insights on topics such as skills shortages, employer demands, and how to prepare for interviews through blogs, webinars, podcasts and workshops.

Broad opportunities

Our employers represent a number of sectors, such as government, professional services, retail, and banking, so the opportunities open to you won't necessarily be limited to your field of study.

After graduation

Ongoing support: You'll have continued access to job opportunities beyond your study period. We want to be able to continue to work with you through the lifespan of your career. As long as you’re keeping your profile up to date, we’ll share opportunities with you.

Pairing learning pathways to job roles

Our learning pathways have been designed to create competency in the areas where there are skills shortages, such as digital, technology and project management. Learning People pathways are paired to job roles where we know there are vacancies across the UK.
