What are the best Cyber Security courses and how do I choose one?
The best cyber security course for you will depend on your career goals and your current level of experience in the field.

- If you have a specific role in mind, such as SOC analyst, penetration tester, or an information security manager, you'll likely need a carefully curated pathway of cyber courses to help you land your dream job.

It has no prerequisites, meaning it's perfect for career changers or career starters. If you're a cyber security professional looking to advance your knowledge, the best courses will be those that require previous training or experience, such as the CompTIA CySA+ or CISSP.
30 is absolutely not too old to start a career in cyber security. Many of the students we support into cyber careers are older than 30 when they first talk to us. There is huge demand for skilled cyber security professionals in the UK, and this demand is growing quickly due to the new digital threats being posed by AI. Employers will be looking for hard skills, certifications, and soft skills such as analytical thinking when assessing candidates for cyber security roles; they will not be concerned if the applicant is older than 30 years old.
